“Lucille” Is a stylish oversized lace backed sweater.
Using DK weight yarn and knit top down beginning with the back followed by front stitches being picked up from the shoulders. Sleeve stitches are picked up also creating a completely seamless garment. The elongated back is created using short rows. This is an intermediate level pattern. “Lucille” is the adults version of “Lucy Vella” This pattern is exclusively written for Nana Cindy’s 100% Lush Superwash Merino DK.

Notes on fit:
If you want more of an oversized look, deeper neckline and floatier garment knit a size up. My prototype is a size larger than my real size (accidentally) so appears larger in fit.

Body shape will affect the fit of this garment, its designed to work with busts of all shapes and sizes!! If you are rather well endowed the neckline may not appear as deep and low as someone who is more comparable to oranges than melons. Whatever the size of your ladies this sweater works!
