A softly structured winter hat with a flat top, a tapered body, and a decorative belt. Lucinda is knit in the round with 2 strands of yarn held together, then felted in a washing machine. Comprehensive instructions are included for knitting, felting and shaping the hat.

MATERIALS:

3 skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted
Color: Avocado; 250 yards

1 skein Knit Picks Provincial Tweed; Color: Lake Shore; 250 yards

Needles: Size US10.5 circular needle or Size US10.5 double pointed needles (or size to achieve gauge) to work in the round

Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, one slide/buckle to accommodate a 1” strap, fiberfill (to help with shaping), and washing machine for felting
