Lucky Cowl
It’s the cowl version of Lucky Hat. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I wondered what to call it.
I do feel lucky these days, though. Well, maybe more grateful, than lucky.
I’m truly grateful for my wonderful friends that I know
I can talk to about knitting or anything, anytime. They are creative, funny and caring. I so appreciate all of our walks
and talks.
I’m grateful that my husband didn’t get injured on the last troublesome day of 2020, when a car hit his tractor as he was turning in the road just beyond the driveway. He was thrown off and landed in the road without a scratch, bump or bruise. He was lucky. We were lucky.
The cowl has to have a name, so it’s simply that – Lucky Cowl. It’s a few more rounds of knitting than the hat and a bind off in pattern.
A big thank you to Barbara for test knitting the patterns!
