Do you feel lucky? The name of this came from the horseshoe lace design and their folklore of bringing luck. I know growing up on a farm, we always had a horseshoe over all the exits. All that pass, may they have luck.

This design has a fun shaping elements. All the shaping is smartly made right within the lace design so it’s seamless in it’s movement and shaping.

May you have lots of luck in your knitting adventures

Materials:
Mittens: Quince and Company Lark in “Pomegranate” - 2 skein (134 yds each)
Mitts: Handspun Alpaca from Spunky Eclectic in colorway “Fading Mandy” - 4 ounces (180 yards) Spun as a 2 ply with 14 WPI in the finished yarn.
A little note of caution: Alpaca tends to stretch out and not be very springy so if you’re using alpaca it’s usually best to have it blended with some wool or understand that the mitts may not fit after some time. I’ve worn these gently over the past few years and they’ve work out for me so far.
