Is it a ladybird or ladybug? I suppose that depends on where you live but in the UK they are ladybirds and are a sign that Spring is on it’s way as they wake up to feed and begin their breeding cycle.
Plus some believe they bring good luck, but as a gardener I know they are an important part of our eco system.

Gauge isn’t important, your work just needs to be compact so that stuffing doesn’t show through.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Needles UK No 10 (3.25mm) US 3
Tapestry/Darning needle for sewing up
Toy stuffing
8mm & 10mm safety eyes (optional)
SUGGESTED COLOURS: for size 1
10g red
4g black
4g skin tone
Any DK/8ply yarn and colour combinations can be used.
