This sweater is perfect worn over a dress, jumpsuit, or a white shirt—or with a tank top and jeans. It has a cropped body that is slightly longer at the back, fully fashioned raglan increases, and an optional sleeve length. It features a lace pattern on the front of the body and a slightly distinctive ribbing and bind-off.

Knit it with a main yarn of 400 m per 100 g and a fluffy companion yarn of 800 m per 100 g, or use double strands of Silk Mohair. With such large needles and fine yarn, it’s important that at least one of the strands is fluffy so the stitches fill out properly. Companion yarns like Alpakka Følgetråd or Angel Silver Lace will not give a good result.

The advantage of using such fine yarn on large needles is that the sweater becomes lightweight with a beautiful drape. It’s also easier to knit with large needles when the yarn is thin, and you use very little yarn.
