Hello

This is my pattern for Lucy the baby swan.
I used..

  • approx. 100g of white Bella Baby Nippers yarn
  • approx. 20g of light 8 ply pink Brighton Cotton blend yarn.
-Some 4 ply purple yarn for the bow.
  • Black and white 8 ply cotton yarn for the eyes
  • 3mm hook and 2.5mm hook
  • embroidering yarn or 4 ply black yarn for eyebrows
  • polyester filling
  • stitch marker
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle

To make Lucy you need to know how to make a magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease, slip stitch, work is rounds.

Lucy should measure approx. 35 cm in length.

Lucy has been tested by 4 lovely ladies.
If someone does find any missed mistakes please let me know so I can fix them (thank you!)

The pattern is quite simple but it is a bit hard to see the individual stitches and this pattern might not be suitable for a beginner.

Other Velvet yarn can be used but your swan will turn out a bit bigger since the Nippers yarn is not quite as thick.

Warm regards and happy crocheting, Janina
