Combination of cotton and mohair, simple, slightly oversized body shape, wide sleeves strongly tapered at the cuff, the structure of the seed stich and the decorative raglan line that continues in the body and sleeves make the sweater interesting to knit and to look at.

LUCY’S SWEATER is knitted from top to down in rounds.

Sizes:

Choose a size that has a body circumference of approx. 4 – 8” / 10 - 20 cm more than yours.

Body circumference: 39.3 (44, 48.8, 53.5, 58.3)” / 100 (112, 124, s136, 148) cm
Sleeve circumference: 15.7 (17.3, 18.9, 20.5, 23.6)“ / 40 (44, 48, 52, 60) cm

Length from armpit down: 11.4” / 29 cm

This pattern uses 1 strand Cotton Light and 2 strands Kid-Silk yarns held together.

Needles

  • circular needles size 7 mm; length 40 cm = 16” and 80 cm = 32” or longer
  • circular needles size 6 mm / US 10; length 40 cm = 16” and 80 cm = 32” or longer;

The rechnique Magic Loop can be used - you then only need 80 cm = 32” circular needles in each size.

Other:

  • waste yarn or an extra cord to transfer the live stitches;
  • 4 markers (one of them in a different color)
  • tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends

Gauge:
Seed Stitch: 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm = 10 sts and 18 rows with 1 strand Cotton Light + 2 strands Kid-Silk yarns held together

Gauge swatch should be measured after wet blocking.
