Pronounced “Lúnasa” and means “Start of harvest” in Gaelic

The design features a flat cable motive with a twist that looks like a woven harvest basket or the pattern on the top of an acorn and has a cast-off edge that represents the early autumn leaves fluttering in the crisp autumnal air.

This beautiful shawl is simple and easy to knit shawl, the edges are knitted and do not feel like you are casting of the shawl.

The shawl is part of Fjord Fibres mystery shawl club for this autumn.
