Luí na Gréine means Sunset in Irish.

The bag is knit from the top down in the round. First, four tabs are knit for the handles in moss st, then the tabs are incorporated into the body of the bag, which is worked in the round, with a moss stitch edging and cables representing the setting sun before finishing with some simple shaping and the bottom is then grafted together to finish.

This is a handbag pattern designed exclusively for An Irish knit Odyssey’s ombré Aran yarn in the colour way, Luí na Gréine but any aran weight yarn will work!
