Luke loves to fly around among the flower meadows that are right next to the forest where he lives. He has his home in a tree trunk that belongs to an old oak tree.

The first thing Luke does when he wakes up every morning is to wash himself in the dewdrops he saves for each morning, then it’s time to work. Luke’s job is to hand out the morning papers every morning to all the little animals who want one.

When his work is done, Luke flies home to drink some nectar and then spends the rest of the day flying around the meadow, looking for nectar and playing with the other butterflies. Luke loves life and enjoys every day.

Sometimes Luke also takes the opportunity to visit his old grandfather who lives in the forest on the other side of the meadow, where he is always offered extra good nectar that his grandfather acquired when he was young.
