Since moving to the Dorset coast I’ve loved walking down at Lulworth Cove- In summer the sun shines reflecting off the rock face. But in winter the crash of the waves and the rush of the pebbles pulling against the tide really soothes me.

This shawl is my tribute to the beauty of the cove- the pebbles an the surf.

Suitable for an advanced beginner this shawl is knitted in one piece, starting at the top. There is some some garter sections, some stockinette and some simple lace work along with some colour changes. But its also a nice simple pattern repeat that’s easy to memorize- perfect for tv knitting!

I used a set of 5 mini skeins and one skein of semi solid contrast color.
