When Bristol Ivy sits down with a skein of Bohemia, you pay attention.

The Lumière Shawl is her new design for Círculo, and it earns its name. Bohemia is 60% superwash merino, 30% mulberry silk, and 10% superkid mohair, so the silk catches light along every ridge while the mohair softens the edges into a quiet halo.

Bristol builds the body in brioche, a deep crescent of columns that grows on itself, then lets the whole thing open into an airy lace border. The moment the brioche dissolves into lace is the moment the shawl starts to glow.
