This is the English PDF pattern for the Luna crochet beanie! It is a simple, yet elegant knit-looking beanie/hat. It is a made-to-measure pattern, meaning that the length/width of the hat is decided and adjusted by you. You can use any type of yarn and hook, but I recommend using something that isn’t too bulky.

VERSIONS
- There are 2 options for how you can make this hat. Option 1 is beginner-friendly and very simple, but will cause some bunching at the top of the hat. Option 2 is less beginner-friendly as it uses short rows to shape the hat at the top. Both options are described in the pattern!

SIZING

• This hat can be made in any size as it’s a made-to-measure pattern.
• It is crocheted vertically so the starting chain will decide the length/height of the hat while the number of rows you make will determine the width.

MATERIALS USED

• Crochet hook to match your yarn
• Weight 2-4 yarn (sport-worsted) is recommended to achieve the most neat look, but other yarn weights are possible as well.
  • I used worsted weight alpaca wool yarn for my light blue hat and sport weight wool yarn for my white and green hats.
  • You’ll need approximately 100-300 m of yarn depending on yarn type and the size of the hat.
