When I designed this crocheted shawl, the colors reminded me of the beautiful pink sand beach on Lunan Bay in Scotland, hence the name. This shawl is a fast one to make since it is worked with Aran weight yarn and a larger hook. The instructions are both written and charted, with most of the shawl is created with combinations of the double crochet stitch. Three colors of Aran weight yarn are used requiring up to 180 yards per skein. Pictured yarns are Berroco Mercado 4114 Rosa, Manos del Uraguay Wool Clasica Wildflowers, and Berroco Mercado 4135 Aloe.
