The stitch pattern may seem quite complex but is actually rather simple, once you are familiar with how to build the stitches.

It is advisable to use the Russian join technique for starting new balls of yarn with this pattern, since the many chains make weaving in the ends difficult.

You will need approximately 7 balls of Vinnis Colours Serina, worked with a 4mm hook the resulting cape is full of drape and the cooling bamboo yarn makes it a perfect spring and summer evening accessory, keeping you snug but not over heated.

The cape is a deep crescent shape which almost closes to form a full circle. The diagram shows the final shape of the cape after blocking.
