INTRODUCTION
The custom colors created with Cat Sandwich Fibers for this collaboration is based on one of my cat’s name, Diana. Diana is the goddess of the moon in Roman mythology. It so happens that the Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, celebrated by many Asian countries, was when I decided to release this pattern, hence the name of this shawl. The short rows of the shawl edges create the shape of half-moons or crescent moons. The fade of colors is the light the moon reflects off into the sky, off of clouds and stars and into the darkness. Hope you enjoy celebrating the moon with me in this shawl!
