April 30, 2013 - This pattern is done with the test knitting and I’ll be posting the completed pattern before the end of May.

Yule 2010 was very special to me. As the day progressed, the energy flowing through me steadily increased and I could feel so much creativity trying to burst through. Restlessly, I picked up one project after another, but none of them were right. Finally, it was as though my Muse had shaken me to the very core: I was supposed to design my own sweater! I needed a comfortable cardigan that would keep me warm through the winter months.

This cardigan would be filled with the powerful energy of the Full Moon, the Lunar Eclipse and the Winter Solstice. Later it would be infused with the energy of the Spring Equinox and the Full Moon on that night, when the moon was closer to Earth than it had been in just over 18 years. Yes, this cardigan was going to be very special.
