The Finnish word Lunta means snow and pipo means a beanie. I designed this wintery and snowy looking beanie for Advent and Christmas knitting. Lunta pipo is a great Christmas gift. The beanie is knit in the round from brim to crown. The colorwork is at the front. The rest is corrugated ribbing. The pattern has three sizes, but you can easily adjust the size to fit your needs.

Yarn:
Filcolana Arwetta held double
(80% sw merino, 20% nylon): 50 g = 210 m / 230 yd

or any fingering weight yarn held double

Option: If you don’t like knitting with yarn held double, use worsted weight (50 g = 105 / 115 yd) yarn instead.
