An easy to layer lightweight cardigan; ideal for Spring,Summer and Autumn. It is shown as an edge to edge with full length sleeves but could easily be adapted to include one or more buttons and instructions are given for a three quarter length sleeve. It would also look good as a shorter, more boxy, cardi.
It is a simple bottom up construction with integral front bands. The only picking up is for the neckband.
The easy textured stitch on the bands is repeated at regular intervals on the body and sleeves of the cardigan.
This is a fairly simple and quick knit and, while providing some interest for the more advanced, would be suitable for a confident beginner.
