Named in memory of my grandmother who always said you could never be too warm, Luvina was a lover of flowers, especially flowering vines which twined up over her patio creating a lovely, cool, and fragrant oasis of dappled sunshine.

Two sizes are available: the small blanket is perfect as a lap blanket or to fit nicely into a crib or stroller; the large blanket is a great size for a throw. Both blankets are made up of individual squares which are knit from the center out in a floral and lace pattern beginning with a pinhole cast on. Links to helpful videos are included. Pattern includes both charted and written instructions. Squares are seamed together after blocking.

This project works well for using remnants or mini/advent skeins since each square only uses 35 yds/15g for the main color and 21 yds/9g for the border.
