The Lydia Socks are toe-up ankle socks featuring a lace panel that looks like small twisting cables—without using cable stitches or a cable needle.

The lace design is worked across the top of the foot, while the sole remains smooth for a comfortable fit inside shoes. An afterthought heel lets you knit continuously from the toe through the cuff, then return to add the heel once the main sock is complete.

The pattern includes seven sizes, from baby through adult large, with adjustable foot and leg lengths.
