Lyndsey is a beautiful spring top with a simple but flattering shape. The warmer months are the ideal time to perfect your lace knitting skills, and with almost no shaping involved, this pretty shirt is a great place to start.

A few people have been asking about the 3.25mm needle while using aran / worsted weight yarn. I understand this is unusual so wanted to explain.
When the pattern was originally designed it was on DK with 4mm needles. When I received the Louisa Harding Jesse yarn from the magazine it had been advertised as a DK but was knitting up as an aran weight. I had to reduce the needle size down to get the gauge needed for the top to work in the time scale I had.
A 4mm DK weight version of the pattern is included, which is only different by the length knitted.

As long as you get gauge on this pattern, you will be fine. You can use DK or aran and still have a lovely result. The aran will give a denser fabric but is still beautiful, or go with DK for a more draping version.

Hope this helps!
