Der Schnitt des Sweaters ist gerade. Je nachdem wie locker bzw. eng der Sweater getragen werden soll, empfiehlt sich eine Mehrweite von ca. 2-8cm. So berechnest du das: Miss den Brustumfang deines Kindes und halbiere den Wert. Schaue nun in der Tabelle bei Breite Sweater welcher Wert der nächstgrößere zu deinem Wert ist. Dies ist die Größe, die du stricken solltest. Wenn es richtig locker sein soll, dann nimm noch eine Größe größer.

The length can easily be adjusted to fit your child, making the weater roomy, comfortable, and wearable for a long time. The pattern guides you step by step through every section – from the double ribbing and short rows to the colorwork yoke – and the detailed explanations make it suitable for ambitious beginners as well.
The sweater has a straight fit. Depending on how loose or fitted you want the sweater to be, approx. 2-8cm of positive ease is recommended. Calculate this as follows: Measure your child’s bust circumference and divide the measurement in half. In the Sweater width row of the table, find the next measurement larger than your result. This is the size you should knit. If you want a very loose
fit, choose one additional size larger.
