Lyrah is about lines, colors and personal preferences. The timeless top-down raglan construction creates a perfect canvas for creative experimentation and showing off your style. You can choose to use the elementary stitches of the slip stitch pattern to bold effect, or go for something more subtle and tonal. You can continue the graphic lines over the entire sweater, or choose to break them up by following the directions for the ‘festive’ sleeve. With her easy, effortless shape and an amazing range of possibilities, Lyrah definitely has all it takes to be the sweater that complements almost all of you outfits and sartorial moods!

CONSTRUCTION
Lyrah is worked seamlessly from the top down. The upper yoke is worked flat, until the final front neck cast-on. When the neck shaping is completed, the yoke is worked in the round to the underarms, where body and sleeves are separated. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round to the ribbing. Then the sleeves are worked in the round until the cuffs.
The pattern includes directions for two sleeve options; the ‘sporty’ sleeve (worked in the same pattern as the body and tapered towards the wrist), and the ‘festive’ sleeve (lower sleeve worked in zig-zag pattern, and slightly puffy).
The ribbing of the body, sleeves and neckline are worked perpendicular to the edges of the sweater.
