Construction:
The sweater is worked from the top down. Begin by working the upper back flat. Towards the end of this section, the decorative «drop stitch» pattern is introduced. To ensure a good fit, short rows are worked into the back.
Next, stitches are picked up for the right and left shoulders, which are each worked separately using short rows to shape the shoulders. Once both shoulders are complete, they are joined at the center front to form the beginning of the front piece.The «drop stitch» pattern continues over the front, and then the front and back are joined to work the body in the round. The drop stitch pattern is carried into the beginning of the body before transitioning into stockinette stitch. The body is finished with an i-cord bind-off for a neat and stretchy edge.
Once the body is complete, stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked top-down. The sleeves begin with the «drop stitch» pattern and then transition into stockinette, creating the signature trumpet shape.
In the last «drop stitch» at the hem, a drawstring is threaded through, which can be adjusted from the inside of the sweater. This allows for shaping and customizing the waist to achieve the desired shape.

Choosing your size:
The sweater is designed with a close fit over the bust and a recommended positive ease of 5– 15 cm. It is more fitted at the top and flares slightly towards the hem, where it can be adjusted using the drawstring.
Ease = Garment circumference – Body measurement.
Example: If your bust measurement is 85 cm and you choose a garment circumference of 100 cm, you will have 15 cm of positive ease.

Valg av størrelse:
Plagget har en tettsittende passform over brystet med en anbefalt bevegelsesvidde på 5–15 cm. Den sitter litt tett øverst og slipper mer ut i underdelen, som formes med strammetråd for justering.
Bevegelsesvidde er plaggets mål minus kroppens mål.
Eksempel: Har du brystmål 90 cm og velger overvidden 100 cm for du en bevegelsesvidde på 10 cm.

Konstruksjon:
Først strikkes den øverste delen av bakstykket. Mot slutten av denne delen begynner du på det dekorative dråpestrikk. For å gi god passform strikkes det vendepinner i bakstykket. Deretter plukkes det opp masker til høyre og venstre skulder, som strikkes hver for seg med vendepinner for å forme skuldrene. Når skuldrene er ferdige, samles de midt foran og danner starten på forstykket.
Mønsteret fortsetter over forstykket, før for- og bakstykket strikkes sammen til én del. Dråpestrikk føres videre inn i starten av bolen, og deretter strikkes kroppen i glattstrikk. Bolen avsluttes med en I-cord-kant for en pen og elastisk finish.
Når kroppen er ferdig, plukkes det opp masker langs armhulene, og ermene strikkes ovenfra og ned. Ermene starter med dråpestrikk, og går deretter over i glattstrikk. Denne kombinasjonen er med på å skape den karakteristiske trompetfasongen i ermet.
I den nederste dråperapporten tres det inn en strammetråd, som kan justeres fra innsiden av plagget. Dette gir mulighet til å forme og tilpasse plagget i livet – slik at du enkelt kan skape ønsket fasong.
