The Mabel Beanie is constructed from the bottom up in 2x2 ribbing. You first start with stocking stitch before moving onto the 2x2 ribbing. It has a faux brim that is knitting together with the cast on edge to create a soft folded double brim. The stocking stitch is against your forehead so when you are wearing your Mabel Beanie, you do not have lines on your head after wearing it. Having a double brim also adds in the extra squish factor!
