These socks are inspired by my beautiful whippet girl, Mabel, or Boo as she is affectionately known. I just adore when she crosses her little front paws which is what the dainty cable pattern represents.

These socks are knit toe up using my Beanie toe, mini gusset and German short row heel.

The pattern incorporates a beautiful and very simple ‘mabel cable’ up both sides of the foot and leg.

The pattern is written for magic loop and is suitable for an intermediate sock knitter.

The pattern includes a video tutorial to demonstrate casting on and starting the toe increases.

For the sample socks I used Kate Selene Sock yarn in her Candy Floss colour way.
