The Mac Tee is a classic raglan tee using fingering weight yarn to provide a light and airy fit, featuring dropped stitches around the yoke, bottom hem and sleeve hems, as well as eyelet raglan increases and eyelet detailing along the side seams of the body.

It is knit from the top down, in the round with German Short Row shaping which is worked back and forth. Increases are made to shape the neckline and sleeves. The sleeves are then put on hold whilst the remainder of the body is worked, finished with another round of dropped stitches and a 1 x 1 rib. The sleeves are then picked up and also knitted in round and finished in the same style as the body.

Any 4-ply/fingering weight yarn will work.

This top is intended to have 0 - 4” 0 - 10cm positive ease around the chest. If you measure in-between sizes, decide how much positive ease you wish to have, based on the recommended amount of positive ease of 0 - 4” 0 - 10cm.
