table decorations in a bowl or as party favors. Little ones made on the standard gauge machine could even be at-
tached to hair barrettes.

YARN, GAUGE, SIZE & MACHINE
Any smooth yarn appropriate to the machine. Use up odds and ends! Any Japanese machine. No ribber required. Size will vary from 2-4” in diameter depending on yarn choice use a stitch size 1 number tighter than you would if knitting a sweater with the same yarn. Bulky sample used1/2 ounce of #4 yarn.
