Machine Knit Fair Isle Hat
This pattern was designed to be used on a Brother KH-260 knitting machine. It will work for any knitting machine that can utilize worsted weight yarn.
The main colourwork panel is created flat on the machine. Then the panel is released and transferred onto knitting needles. The crown and ribbing are hand-knit in the round. However, they could just as easily be knit flat and then seamed up the side at the end.
If you have a ribber, the ribbing can be done on the machine.
