Here is the next one of my 6” series for you. All squares are named and inspired by some great female musicians. While designing the squares, I listened to their music. For me, music is connecting people around the world just like crocheting. You just can understand it everywhere. That’s what I really love about both of them. And if you like, you can hear their songs while working the squares.

This time I listened to the legendary Chavela Vargas and one of her most iconic songs, Macorina. Her interpretation is bold, emotional, and full of passion – qualities that shaped the character of this square. Just like the song itself, making it a true tribute to her artistry.
