Madeira can be worn on or off the shoulder, and can easily be adjusted in length. It has 4” of positive ease, which makes it very forgiving in terms of size.
It is worked in the round up to the sleeves, and has minimal seaming at the shoulders, which allows you to decide how large you want the neck opening to be. It can be made with any type of yarn, from lace to fingering (or even sport) weight, as long as it has a good drape. Linen, bamboo, milk protein, soft cotton or wool, microfiber or rayon are good choices for this pattern.

Additional material: thin elastic, a few inches longer than the circumference of your hip.

Sizes: 34(38, 42, 46, 50, 54)“ to fit bust size 30(34, 38, 42, 46, 50) with a 4” positive ease.
The top is very simple in terms of shape and can easily be customizable to make a smaller or in-between size.
