I love the Jeeves and Wooster books by P.G. Wodehouse. One of the characters that Bertie often finds himself engaged to is Madeleine Bassett. These socks are a lacy version of my Bertie Wooster’s Faux Pas socks.

Sizes: 7”, 8”, 9”, 10” leg circumference; foot length is adjustable.

Yarn requirements: for most feet, an average 400-440 yard skein of sock yarn should be sufficient. For large feet, you may wish to have more.
