Madness can look like simplicity if you view if from the right angle. You can become addicted to either. This addictive pattern is actually a little of both: simple to work up using two fingering weights held together with a madly addictive result.

Yarn Requirements:
100g each of any two colors Fingering Weight. Pattern is worked using two yarns held together as one. Your options are endless. Use two colors that are identical, are different but complement each other, or are in complete contrast. Use two fingering weights of the same or different content or texture. Incorporate yarns with stellina or a fiber that halos. Whatever your heart desires will work.

Mermaid Sock (400 yards/100 grams, 100% Merino, color: The Quibbler)
and Nymph Sock (400 yards /100 grams, 80% Super wash Merino/20% Nylon, color: Bellatrix) held together as one.

Recommended Needles:
Size 7 (4.5mm) 24” circular or size required to get gauge.
Please note – gauge is flexible, but yardage will vary.

Supplies:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends. A removable stitch marker or progress marker and row counter may be helpful.

Gauge:
Approximately 20 sts / 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) Stockinette stitch in the round, blocked.

Notes:
This pattern features an i-cord cast on and bind off for matching edges at both the top and bottom. Cowl can be worn with either side out as it is fully reversible.
