This V-shaped shawl features a center star in the square portion. Two sides are bound off, and the other two sides are worked to the end and bound off. Both written instructions and charts are included, as well as diagrams to show the transition from the center square.

The Madrone tree - namesake of this shawl - has a lovely smooth bark that ranges from red to mahogany.
