Madrona is a flounce jacket. The flounce is knitted in one piece and pleated in the back. The bottom edge is at waist level in the front and slightly below the waist in the back. Madrona uses an internal I-cord to transition from the flounce to a faux yoke.

The Madrona motif has been created exclusively for this garment. The pattern uses traveling stitches, cable crosses and openwork on a reverse stockinette background on the body of the sweater. The yoke and sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch.
