This chunky ribbed beanie is easy enough for a beginner and interesting enough to keep an experienced knitter engaged. The Pacific Madrone is a tree native to the coastal ranges of the Pacific Northwest. The Madrone’s beautiful gnarly branches are emulated in this hat.

Gauge: 2 st/inch with US 15 in Twisted Rib
