Maestrale is a triangular shawl with an airy lace pattern and a little hint of texture. It is perfect for summer, to wear on a plain dress or even to be used as a pareo on the beach!

This pattern was designed with Scheepjes Whirl, but you are free to use your favorite yarn, of course. I would recommend using fingering weight yarn. Using a different weight could or will require adjustments that I cannot provide in this pattern. Feel free to mix and match your favorite colors and your favorite yarn, use your own creativity!

Please, take your time to check your gauge. You can crochet the first 10 rows and measure one whole repeat. It should be a square 8 x 8 cm (about 3 x 3 inch). This way you can use all your Scheepjes Whirl cake. You can choose to ignore the gauge requirements if you are using a different yarn, of course.

Note: the correct stitch count at the end of row 34 is 119 DC.

I hope you enjoy as I did!
