One of the reasons that I love Puffin is that it knits up quickly. The Fiona Pullover took two evenings, including a bit of ripping out. The Maggie Hat is quick to knit, too. I made it striped because I was playing with color combinations. But it would look great in a solid color, too, if you didn’t want to invest in multiple skeins (five). If you do spring for the all the colors, you could make a group of hats, just changing out the background color.
