This pattern was designed to use a magic ball - many leftover bits of yarn tied together to make a cake of yarn. These yarns are striped to break up the colors and cause easy color transitions from one end of the s(c)hawl to the other.

To make a larger shawl, either use more yardage, or use a heavier weight of yarn and larger needles.

The green sample was knit using 10 different yarn scraps in various quantities - approximately 6 grams to 15 grams each.

The neutral sample was knit using two 50 gram balls of yarn.
