Magic Symmetry Shawl
This is a GAUGE-FREE pattern. No where do we refer to gauge. Knit to the size you desire with Any Gauge of yarn. Dive into your stash and collect some odd balls together and get ready to cast on. 100-200g of yarn will make a scarf or shawl. Start at one point and work in garter stitch, working Magic Rows which will produce a shawl with tails of equal length. Yes, it’s symmetrical. Choose 1 of the 3 different Magic Rows to work with. The Magic Rows are set up so you can easily know when to work them. Gotta love that.
Do you have a suggestion for a different stitch pattern in the Magic Rows?
Suggestion 1: by me, work the Daisy Stitch which makes a little cluster of stitches:
Magic Row 1: With new colour, work increase as set and then knit across row.
Magic Row 2: Knit first set of edge stitches as set, over next 4 stitches work P3tog (do not take sts off needle), YO and P3tog (same 3 sts as before), remove 3 sts from Left needle, P1; repeat from.
