Magic Unicorn Finger Puppet
Looms Used: All-n-One Loom or Flexee Skinny, though you could use any loom with 3/8 inch peg spacing.
This pattern makes a toy finger puppet with scrap yarns. This can be as colorful as you want! Rainbows are fun, but the manes can also be worked in a single color as well.
This is a quick toy or gift to make, so try a whole herd!
Note that this is worked using flat knit. Flat knit can be very tight, so keep checking your tension. When working the decreases for shaping, I suggest working the stitches and immediately moving the loops to set up for the next row.
The embroidery is done by using a strand of worsted weight yarn picked apart, and then 2 strands are threaded through the tapestry needle to make the eyes and nostrils.
This toy is Preschooler Approved, as is the Magic in the title.
