Magnolia Cardi has a romantic style that harks back to other times.
The yoke is decorated with a very simple but elegant lace stitch that progressively grows to resemble the petals of a flower.
The floral motif is also repeated on the body. The yoke grows in harmony with the design, and the increases are integrated and camouflaged within the lace stitch.
The cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down with a circular yoke, gradual increases are made in the yoke until you reach the sleeves which will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later. Sleeves are worked in rounds.
This way there will be no seams.
We used a precious silk yarn with a slightly rustic look that makes the garment precious but at the same time casual, comfortable and suitable for all occasions. It’s quick and easy to knit.
“Magnolia Cardi” comes in 11 sizes (from 78 to 179 cm 30.7 to 70.4 “ bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

Cast on the collar with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves and 100 40” for body.

Magnolia Cardi ha uno stile romantico che rimanda ad altri tempi. Lo sprone è decorato con un semplicissimo ma elegante punto a traforo che crescendo progressivamente ricorda i petali di un fiore. Il motivo floreale è ripreso anche nel corpo. Lo sprone cresce in sintonia con il disegno e gli aumenti sono integrati e mimetizzati nel motivo a traforo. Questo modello è lavorato in piano dall’alto verso il basso con sprone rotondo, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Le maniche, riprese successivamente, sono lavorate in tondo. Con questo metodo non ci sono cuciture.
Abbiamo usato una preziosa fettuccia in seta dall’aspetto leggermente rustico che rende il capo prezioso ma allo stesso tempo casual, confortevole e adatto a tutte le occasioni.
È veloce e facile da realizzare.
