Magnolia Shawl is part of a design and dyeing collaboration between Third Vault Yarns and Rhapsodye yarns. Inspired by Spring, this shawl is designed to emulate the shape of a leaf, using intarsia colourwork to show the veins, and play with texture. This knitted shawl pattern comes in two versions, Fingering weight and Dk.

I was drawn to this shape as it has so many possibilities for wearing. It’s possible to style it with 3 different options, folded in half with either contrast colour showing or flat, making it both a scarf and a shawl. It can be draped around the neck or kept in place with a shawl pin.
