This pattern uses 2 strands of super bulky yarn held together OR a single strand of jumbo yarn like We Are the Knitters The Wool or Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool. If you use another type of jumbo yarn make sure it’s not the really heavy jumbo like what is used in arm knitting, just something slightly heavier than Wool Ease Thick and Quick.

Pattern Inspiration
I love Target and pumpkin spice lattes and fall and Christmas and Fixer Upper and all the basic things and when Target released the Hearth and Hand with Magnolia Christmas line you better bet that I was right on that. I saw a beautiful knit stocking in that collection and just knew I had to come up with a handmade version! I added a few ideas for different brim options and eliminated the large cable down the center in order to highlight the unique texture of the smaller cables. I hope you enjoy!
