The Mahdia Playsuit is first worked flat from the top down, with a built-in button band. Raglan increases are set up using stitch markers, which also mark the placement of the subtle cable detailing.

Once the raglan increases are complete, the body and sleeves are separated, and the sleeves are placed on hold. The body is knitted to the desired length and then joined in the round after completing the button band. Increases are added at the front and back to create space for the legs.

The magic loop technique is then used for the legs and sleeves, which are worked one at a time while the other pieces remain on hold. The cables continue down the legs, while the sleeves are worked in plain stockinette.
