Let’s crochet some mahjong tiles! This written pattern is pretty simple and beginner-friendly, and there is a tutorial video included where you can follow along.

The finished product is about 2in x 1.5in x 1in. It works up pretty quickly (in about thirty minutes).

Feel free to use any yarn, but stiffer yarn, like the Peaches and Cream cotton yarn, allows for a more rectangular shape for your tile.

Of course, there are more mahjong tiles than the red 中, but this is a simple character to start with. Feel free to experiment!
