Inspired by garments of Vikings, and characters in books and film who have body armour and cuffs to protect them as they live through grand adventures. This sweater has two colours to define bodice, and distinct cuffs, with a flattering neckline to compliment the contrasting yoke and sleeves. The textured hems and bands hint of hammered metal, yet they are soft and wearable. This sweater is striking in solids, hand-dyed variegated yarns, or a combination of both.

Designed to be worn next to your skin, use soft yarns, or if you prefer to layer something under, consider knitting a larger size for more ease.

Sizes are based on chest sizes 34 (36, 38, 40, 42) inches or 86 91, 96.5, 101, 106.5 centimetres.

Main colour: 2 -3 skeins; Contrast colour: 2 skeins

Stash-buster idea: Consider using different colours of leftover yarn that is similar in weight for cuffs, sleeves, yokes, and bands.
