Maine Woods Woolies is all grown up with this adult version of my Maine inspired children’s sweaters featuring classic Maine motifs.

The Maine Woods Cardie is knit in Allagash; a lofty, woolen-spun yarn inspired by the pristine waters of a river in Maine. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down on a circular needle. Sleeves feature a fold-under lining at the cuff. Short rows are worked at the top of the back for neck shaping. Each moose and tree motif is worked using a bobbin.

You will need 1 30-in. circular and 1 set of dp needles in the size to obtain gauge, 9 bobbins, 8 ring markers and 6 x 3/4 in. buttons.

Original design took:
4 (5, 5, 6) hanks #883 Bark
1 (1, 1, 2) hanks #397 Pumpkin and
1 hank # 671 Blue Spruce for all sizes
